"West Robertson Water Authority (WRWA) will receive sealed Bids for the construction of their Water Main Extension and Pump Replacement Project until 3:00 p.m. local time, Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at their office located at 608 Keysburg Rd, Adams, TN 37010, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any person with disability requiring special accommodations must contact the WRWA no later than 7 days prior to the bid opening. The contract involves 3,030 LF of new 4-inch PVC treated water pipeline and appurtenances generally along Heads Church Road in Cedar Hill, Tennessee, the installation of nearly 1,150 LF of new 4-inch PVC treated water pipeline and appurtenances generally along Highway 76 in Adams, Tennessee, and the removal and replacement of two booster pumps and pump pedestals adjacent to Glen Raven Road in Adams, Tennessee. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: McGhee Engineering, Inc., at P.O. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:30-4:30 pm and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. This project is being supported with Treasury, Coronavirus State and Local Recovery Fund grant funding. Therefore, certain restrictions and other federal requirements attach to this opportunity. A detailed listing of all subcontractors shall be provided by the Bidder. In accordance with the Contract Documents, documentation that the prospective General Contractor and its subcontractors meet minimum qualifications shall be provided and submitted. Subcontractors must also not appear on Sam.gov disbarment list. Mark-ups on subcontractor work or Cost Plus Overhead will be disallowed for reimbursement. A bid bond or certified check for five percent (5%) of the total bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in the amount of his bid and shall, before entering on the work of said contract, be licensed as a contractor of the WRWA.
