The City of Russellville will receive sealed Bids for the construction of their Utility System Upgrades Project – Various City Streets until 2:00 p.m. local time, Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at the Russellville Mayor’s Office, 168 South Main Street, Russellville, Kentucky, 42276, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud

The contract involves the replacement of approximately 4,000 LF of waterlines along various city streets, replacement of approximately 600 LF of gravity sewer along East 2^nd Street, plus other improvements and appurtenances, all in the city limits of Russellville (Logan County) in areas of Second, Seventh, Bethel, Edwards,  & Bowden Streets.  Bids will be received for a single prime Contract.  Bids shall be on a unit price basis. 

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: McGhee Engineering, Inc., at P.O. Box 267, 202 South Ewing Street, Guthrie, Kentucky 42234 or by calling (270) 483-9985.   Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:30-4:30 pm, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.

All bidders shall submit with their bid an acceptable bid bond or a certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, payable to the Owner.  No bidder may withdraw their bid after the date of the bid opening.  The City of Russellville reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous.  Note that the OWNER reserves the right to award only a portion of the work, at the stated unit prices, due to limited funds available for the project.
