The City of Russellville will receive sealed Bids for the construction of their Brookhaven Lift Station Replacement Project until 2:00 p.m. local time, Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at the Russellville Mayor’s Office, 168 South Main Street, Russellville, Kentucky, 42276, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The contract involves the replacement of the City’s Brookhaven Lift Station off Hopkinsville Street in accordance with contract plans and specifications. All work is located in Russellville, Kentucky (Logan County).

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: McGhee Engineering, Inc., at P.O. Box 267, 202 South Ewing Street, Guthrie, Kentucky 42234 or by calling (270) 483-9985. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:30-4:30 pm, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. No Bid will be considered unless accompanied by a cashier's, certified or bank check or a Bid Bond equal to at least five percent of the maximum Bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that after a Bid is accepted. Bidder will execute and file the Agreement and 100% Performance and Payment Bonds within fifteen days after the tentative Notice of Award. Contract award shall be made based on the lowest, responsive, responsible Bid. The City of Russellville reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 90 days after the time set for opening Bids.
