"The Todd County Fiscal Court will receive sealed Bids for the construction of the Todd County Soccer Complex Project until 3:00 p.m. local time, Thursday, April 17, 2025 at the office of McGhee Engineering, 202 South Ewing Street, Guthrie, Kentucky, 42234, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. The contract involves the construction of a new soccer complex including site grading, lighting, a restroom facility, entry drive and parking lot, all in the city limits of Elkton, Kentucky. Bids are to be addressed to the Todd County Fiscal Court; c/o McGhee Engineering, Inc., P.O. Box 267 or 202 South Ewing Street, Guthrie, Kentucky, 42234, and shall be marked “Sealed Bid – Todd County Soccer Complex Project.” Bids are also to include on the outside, Bidder’s name and address and the Bid receipt date and time. Bids shall be prepared in compliance with the requirements of the Instructions to Bidders. No Bid will be considered unless accompanied by a cashier's, certified or bank check or a Bid Bond equal to at least five percent of the maximum Bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that after a Bid is accepted. Bidder will execute and file the Agreement and 100% Performance and Payment Bonds within fifteen days after the tentative Notice of Award. Contract award shall be made based on the lowest, responsive, responsible Bid. The Todd County Fiscal Court reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous.
