The South Logan Water Association will receive separate, sealed Bids for their Schochoh Elevated Water Tank - Contract No. 1 (Tank Rehab Project) until 2:00 P.M. (local time), Friday, March 17, 2023 at the office of McGhee Engineering, Inc., 202 South Ewing Street (PO Box 267); Guthrie, Kentucky 42234, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The work to be performed involves the painting, cleaning and rehabilitation of an existing 200,000 gallon elevated water tank. The work may also include, if added, the installation of a tank mixing system within the structure (Add Alternate Bid Item). The tank is located near the intersection of Corinth Road (KY 663) and Halls Store Road in the Schochoh community (Logan County). Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum price basis. Wet or Dry Tank Inspections will perform the construction observation on this project.
This project will be funded with the Owner’s Reserve monies and/or possibly with Cleaner Water Program (CWP) grant funds administered through the Kentucky Infrastructure Authority (KIA). Applicable CWP requirements and provisions must be met by the Bidder and all subcontractors. Small and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises are encouraged to participate in this project.
