The Todd County Water District will receive separate, sealed Proposals for their Water Meter Enhancement Project – Todd County Area Cellular Endpoints (Contract No. 1) until 2:00 p.m. local time, May 23, 2024 at the office of the Todd County Water District, 2201 New Highway 68 West, P.O. Box 520, Elkton, Kentucky, 42220, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. The contract involves the purchase of all equipment, hardware & software for use in implementing a conversion of radio-read endpoints (drive-by) to cellular endpoints on all water meters in the Todd County Area of the Todd County Water District. Also, if the District elects to add to the scope, the contract may involve the labor to switch out the new endpoints on all existing meters. Presently, there are approximately 3,300 total meters in the Todd County portion of the District’s water system, of various sizes, to be changed out in the system. Perspective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:30-4:30 pm, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Plans will be sold with an option of Digital only OR Printed Set w/ Digital copy. Bids will be accepted only from registered contractors holding approved bid forms provided by the Issuing Office. If Bidder offers other products that also meets the project’s needs and specifications, the Bidder may elect to turn in an additional bid for consideration, which includes a separate, unbound copy of the Bid Form along with the Bidder’s Qualifications Statement, all in a separate sealed envelope. This project is funded with District Reserve monies and with Cleaner Water Program (CWP) grant funds administered through the Kentucky Infrastructure Authority (KIA). Applicable CWP requirements and provisions must be met by the Bidder and all subcontractors. Small and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises are encouraged to participate in this project.
