The Central City Water & Sewer Commission will receive separate, sealed Bids for their Kentucky National Guard – Wendell H. Ford Regional Training Center: Water Supply Line Project until 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at the office of the Central City Water & Sewer Commission, 214 North First Street, Central City, Kentucky 42330, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Facsimile bids or electronically transmitted bids will not be accepted.

The Work to be performed involves the installation of approximately 22,000 LF of 8-inch PVC treated water pipeline and appurtenances to provide a redundant water supply to the Kentucky National Guard’s Wendell H. Ford Regional Training Center, west of Central City, Kentucky (Muhlenberg County), all as described by the Contract Drawings and Specifications.

Bidding Documents may be examined at the office of McGhee Engineering, Inc. and at City Hall in Central City. Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office, which is McGhee Engineering, Inc., at P.O. Box 267, 202 South Ewing Street, Guthrie, Kentucky 42234 or by calling (270) 483-9985. A $75.00 non-refundable charge will be required for each contract set of Bidding Documents (each set includes specifications and 22-inch by 34-inch drawings). Shipping and handling fees are included. Overnight mailing of Bidding Documents will not be provided. Bids will be accepted only from contractors holding approved bid forms.
