The City of Guthrie will receive sealed bids for the Guthrie Wastewater Treatment Plant Rehabilitation Project – Phase 2 on, Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 10:00 am local time at City Hall located at 110 Kendall Street, Guthrie, Kentucky 42234.  The project involves repair and/or replacement of wastewater plant equipment and facilities.  The Contract Documents may be examined at the office of the engineer and at Guthrie City Hall.  Potential bidders wishing to obtain bidding documents may do so by contacting McGhee Engineering, Inc., 202 Ewing Street, P.O. Box 267, Guthrie, KY 42234 or calling (270) 483-9985 during business hours.  There is a $50 charge for bidding documents.  Bids will be accepted only from contractors holding approved bid forms.  Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109, and E.O. 11246 and Title VI.  Minority bidders are encouraged to bid.    The City of Guthrie reserves the right to reject all bids, waive any informalities in the bidding process and to award to the contractor perceived as offering the greatest advantage to the City.
