"The City of Oak Grove will receive separate, sealed Bids for their Buc-ee’s Water System Extension Project. until 2:00 P.M. (local time), Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at Oak Grove City Hall, 8505 Pembroke Oak Grove Rd, Oak Grove, KY 42262 at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The project involves two separate contracts. Contract 1 includes the construction of a 500,000-gallon composite elevated water storage tank. Contract 2 involves approximately 5,650 LF of 16-inch and 3,660 LF of 8-inch water line. All work shall be as described by the Contract Drawings and Specifications. Separate bids will be received for each Contract. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: McGhee Engineering, Inc, 202 South Ewing Street, Guthrie, Kentucky 42234. Questions regarding the project may be directed to McGhee Engineering at (270) 483-9985. Perspective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:30-4:30 pm and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Plans must be ordered by visiting www.mcgheeengineering.com and selecting “Bid Opportunities”. Plans will be offered with an option of Digital only OR Printed Set w/ Digital copy. Bids will be accepted only from registered contractors holding approved bid forms provided by the Issuing Office. All bidders shall submit with their bid an acceptable bid bond or a certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, payable to the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and to accept or reject any bid. No bidder may withdraw their bid after the date of the bid opening. If an award is made, it will be to the responsive and responsible bidder perceived by the Owner as offering the greatest advantage.
